Easy Indian Saag

Ingredients

600 grams frozen chopped spinach

1 small onion chopped

2 jalepeno chilis

3 garlic cloves chopped

1 inch square fresh ginger chopped

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon ground corriander

1/2 teaspoon garam masala

1/4 teaspoon turmeric

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup ketchup

1/2 cup 10% cream

1 tablespoon oil

2 packets oxo chicken powder

1 cup water

Instructions

Thaw spinach.

Chop onion, garlic, ginger and pepper.

Boil water, stir in oxo

Heat oil in pot.

Add onion, garlic, ginger and pepper, saute until translucent.

Stir in spices

Add spinach, chicken broth mixture and ketchup. Stir until combined.

Bring to a boil, reduce to simmer.

Simmer, stirring frequently until most of the water has evaporated.

Puree the mixture to desired texture.

Stir in cream.
